1. Purpose and Scope
These Terms and Conditions regulate the use of the Kids R website and purchases made through its online store.
By placing an order, the customer declares to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

3. Products
Kids R strives to present the characteristics of the products sold as accurately as possible, including photographs, descriptions, dimensions, materials, colors, and other relevant specifications.
The colors viewed may show slight variations depending on the device, screen, lighting conditions, or the inherent characteristics of the materials.
Technical information regarding the products is presented based on the elements provided by their respective brands and manufacturers.
Lifestyle photographs are for illustrative purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, decorative elements or other products shown in a photograph are not necessarily included in the purchased product.
4. Availability
Product availability is subject to confirmation.
Some items sold by Kids R are produced, customized, or specifically ordered after an order is placed.
In case of product unavailability after purchase, Kids R will inform the customer as soon as possible and, if applicable, refund the amounts paid for the unavailable product.
5. Prices
All prices shown in the online store include VAT at the current legal rate, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Shipping costs, when applicable, are displayed before the order is completed.
Kids R reserves the right to change product prices at any time, without prejudice to the price applicable to orders already completed.
In case of a price reduction, the applicable legislation regarding the indication of the previously practiced price will be observed.
6. Orders
Placing an order implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Upon completion of the purchase, the customer will receive a confirmation at the email address provided during the ordering process.
Kids R reserves the right not to accept or to cancel an order in situations such as product unavailability, obvious price or information error, inability to fulfill the order, or suspicion of fraud.
If payment has already been made and the order is cancelled by Kids R, a corresponding refund will be issued.
7. Payment
Available payment methods are presented during the checkout process.
The processing of certain payments may be carried out by external payment service providers, subject to their respective terms of use and security.
The order will only be processed after payment confirmation, when applicable.
8. Deliveries
The delivery times presented are indicative and may vary depending on product availability, brand, destination, carrier, time of year, and the nature of the order.
Some items, namely furniture, customized products, and items produced or specifically ordered for the customer, may have longer delivery times than products available in stock.

9. Right of Free Resolution
In contracts concluded at a distance, the consumer generally has a period of 14 days to exercise the right of free resolution, without needing to state a reason, in accordance with applicable legislation.
The exercise of this right must be communicated to Kids R through an unequivocal statement, within the legal period.
The consumer must retain proof of the exercise of the right of free resolution.

10. Exceptions to the Right of Free Resolution
The right of free resolution does not apply in cases provided for by law, namely to the supply of goods manufactured according to consumer specifications or clearly personalized.
This exception may apply, among others, to:
Custom-made murals;
Personalized wallpapers or those produced specifically to the dimensions indicated by the customer;
Items customized with name, text, color, finish, or other specifications requested by the customer;
Pieces produced specifically according to customer instructions.
Whenever a product falls under an exception to the right of free resolution, this circumstance must be considered before placing the order.
11. Exchanges and Returns
Items eligible for return must be returned under the conditions provided by law and the conditions indicated by Kids R.
Products must be complete, show no signs of improper use, and, where applicable, be accompanied by the packaging, accessories, and other elements provided.
Except in cases of defective product, lack of conformity, or error attributable to Kids R, the costs associated with the return are borne by the customer, under legally applicable terms.
To initiate a return process, the customer must contact info@kidsr.pt, indicating the order number and the products they wish to return.

12. Refunds
After receiving and verifying the returned items, the refund will be processed under the legally applicable terms and deadlines.
Whenever possible, the refund will be made using the same payment method used in the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed and provided that the consumer does not incur additional costs.
13. Legal Warranty and Conformity of Goods
Products sold by Kids R benefit from the legal conformity warranty provided for in applicable Portuguese legislation, namely Decree-Law no. 84/2021, of October 18, in its current wording.
In case of non-conformity of the good, the consumer has the legally foreseen rights, including, depending on the applicable assumptions, repair, replacement, proportional price reduction, or contract termination.
The application of each solution depends on the specific circumstances and the conditions provided in the legislation in force.
14. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If the customer receives a damaged, defective, or different product from the one ordered, they should contact Kids R as soon as possible via info@kidsr.pt.
To facilitate the analysis of the occurrence, they should indicate the order number and send photographs of the product, the packaging, and, when applicable, the identified damages.
In the case of large volumes, we recommend checking the external condition of the packaging at the time of delivery and recording any damage with the carrier.
15. Product Safety
Kids R sells products subject to applicable safety regulations, including, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety.
Safety information, warnings, recommended age, usage instructions, and other indications provided by the manufacturer must be respected.
The customer must use the products according to their intended purpose and provided instructions.
16. Intellectual Property
Proprietary content available on the Kids R website, including texts, graphic elements, visual identity, and other content, is protected by applicable legislation.
Trademarks, photographs, logos, designs, and other content belonging to third parties are the property of their respective owners and are used under authorized terms.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of protected content may constitute a violation of respective intellectual property rights.
17. Personal Data Protection
Personal data collected through the website is processed in accordance with applicable legislation on personal data protection.

18. Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumers
In case of a consumer dispute, the consumer may resort to a competent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity, in accordance with applicable Portuguese legislation.
The updated list of Alternative Dispute Resolution entities and their contacts can be consulted through the Directorate-General for Consumers.
When there is no arbitration center with specific territorial competence applicable to the dispute, the National Center for Consumer Information and Arbitration (CNIACC) may be competent.
The determination of the competent entity must be carried out in accordance with the legal rules applicable to the specific case.

20. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Kids R may update these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary, namely to reflect legislative, regulatory, operational changes, or those related to the products and services provided.
The version of the Terms and Conditions in force on the date of the order will apply to that order.
21. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the imperative rights conferred on the consumer by applicable national and European legislation.
