Scandinavian Fish Mural

Scandinavian Fish mural by Sandberg combines Swedish design, a matte finish, and a palette designed for contemporary interiors.

The illustrations of these fish come from the work "Skandinaviska fiskar" (Scandinavian Fish) by Wilhelm von Wright, a Finnish illustrator active in the mid-19th century. The motif was printed on a beautiful linen quality and was the most advanced fabric print produced in Sweden in the 1990s. The pattern is now revived as a wall mural. The beige background provides a serene elegance reminiscent of Southern European aesthetics.
